Case study

The Italian business is one of the most successful within Dole Europe with a strong historic performance and broad portfolio of customers. Eden completed a confidential identification process within the Italian fresh produce and food manufacturing industry looking at country specific companies as well as pan European organisations, to deliver the key stages of selection:identification, screening, assessment and validation. This approach delivered a shortlist of six candidates which Dole considered highly credible and interviewed; with two candidates being brought back for a second stage and third stage.

Pilgrim’s UK is one of the flagship food businesses in the UK and part of Pilgrim’s Pride which also own Moy Park and Pilgrim’s Food Masters. Due to the scale of the complexities of this vertically integrated business, Eden and Pilgrim’s UK worked extensively to define a clear brief and candidate profile for one of the most unique positions in UK fresh food production.
