Dyson Farming Ltd
Dyson Farming engaged Eden to search for a successful and inspirational Managing Director with outstanding commercial acumen and the experience to lead this multi-faceted business into a new phase of growth. Working with a selection panel of the HRD and CEO of Weybourne Ltd. Eden led individual consultations to learn more about the business, culture and strategic growth objectives of the business and enjoyed healthy debate as we collectively shaped the candidate brief to fit the needs of the business.

Our Research Partner and Managing Director led an extensive search process targeting the very best current and emerging leaders in the agribusiness and food manufacturing industry in the UK and internationally. This search engaged with candidates across 3 continents to filter down to a shortlist of 6 recommended candidates. The selection panel agreed to meet all 8 candidates (3 from overseas)

The result:

After this extensive global search and selection process which included an interview with Sir James Dyson, the Dyson Farming Board appointed a hugely experienced fresh food Managing Director with the cultural alignment and agribusiness experience to deliver the Dyson Farming objectives.

Dole Inc
Managing Director - Italy
Dole Europe approached Eden to support them in the search for the Managing Director for their Italian business based near Milan. The Italian business is one of the most successful within Dole Europe with a strong historic performance and broad portfolio of customers across the retail, wholesale, and foodservice market with recently developed new facilities which allows the business to capitalise on Doles unique vertically integrated supply chain.

Our Head of Research and Managing Director worked together closely to deliver the key stages of candidate selection: identification, screening, assessment and validation. This approach delivered a shortlist of four candidates which Dole considered highly credible and interviewed; with two candidates being brought back for a 2nd stage and third stage site tours. This process was conducted in complete confidentiality.

The result:

After an extensive search and interview process Dole Europe appointed a very experienced Commercial Director from Ferrero who stepped into their first Managing Director with great success harnessing the power of the Dole vertical supply chain with extensive knowledge of product and brand development from the wider food sector.
